When Ashley started working for The Blissful Dog it did not take long before she started talking about her horses. It was always apparent that Ashely has a love for all animals, but she has a deeper connection with her horses. The natural progression was to develop products that she would trust to use on her own horses.
This of course is the short story, if you would like to read more about how The Blissful Horses came about click here.
Being a horse person isn’t for everybody.Horses are big, expensive animals that can potentially wreak havoc on your heart, soul, body, relationships and wallet.
Are they worth it?
Absolutely!
Horse people take a little extra time to find products that work for their horse. Horse people need to have a connect with any company they do business with when it comes to their horses. We sincerely hope we are the kind of people you feel safe trusting your horse's care to.
By the way, the mighty stallion you see above is my pony Nyker, which was the name of a little horse by a lake in Norse myths. The wee horse in the myths would entice women to ride on his ack, then jump in the lake and eat them. Kinda gory, but I wanted a Norse pony name. At the time we had a small fishing resort here in far northern Minnesota and Nyker was one of the star attractions. He could get out of any fence we built for him and he would then run around the resort until I noticed him. I would go out and whoop and holler and cheer him on and tell him what a magnificent and powerful horse he was. After a few minutes of praise, Nyker would let himself back into his pen, secure in his status. We never speak of it, but he is a mini-gelding. Shhh, our secret. He is 20ish now and ruling the farm here now.
